Rest is something I struggle with. I give myself way too much work to do and then punish myself later when it's a)not done or b) Im exhausted or c) I am tired and the work is poor quality. I took a nap this afternoon on the big green couch in the youth room and realized that I need this more. Gods call is for his kingdom and his heart, he wants to know us. I can conjure up programs and write messages for ever but its only through the relationship and encounter with him that any change will happen in anyones life. I can't poor out of a dry well. Many of my dear friends are in ministry, internships and general rigorous life, my prayer for you is that you find rest in God, in his peace and love- even if thats on a big green couch.
